Very easy to install, and solved my “401” error After 5 months of heavy use, my DP200 started to give me “401” errors on the LCD display, meaning the printer was unable to drive filament through the extruder/nozzle. In addition, I could hear a slight “ticking” sound underneath the LCD display, which I suspect was the sound of filament slipping on whatever drive wheels are driving the filament to the extruder. The printer tried several times to perform its own automated fix, but still I would get 401 errors a few minutes into printing. I bought this new extruder and it worked marvelously. The printer is back up-and-running without a hitch. Yes, an extruder/nozzle should have lasted longer than 5 months — but to be fair, I have been using this printer very heavily. But here’s the good news: installing this extruder/nozzle is super easy.
