Look no further for a 3D printer I just got my new DP201 (actually I purchased 2 but 1 is for another campus). It took me longer to get it out of the box and inventoried then it did to setup and do a test print. With this purchase our school now has 3 DP 200 and 2 DP201 models which will be used by our students. The 3 DP 200 are workhorse printers that are so reliable that I have to make the students use the 2 Polar3D printers to prototype with since it requires more adjusting and manipulating. This is a feature that I like in the Polar3D so please do not get me wrong, but when I have 6 or more students wanting to print a final project, the beauty of the 3DWox is that they can queue them up and with a small tutorial on the desktop app, they are off and printing. I am so happy that I found these printers listed on the MIT Fab Lab list of equipment as it prevented me from making the mistakes that other schools did when they purchased competitors. The only knock on these printers is the need to use their filament which…
Excellent 3d printer. Best value for the price by Miles!! I have been shopping on Amazon for over a decade now and this is the first time I am posting a review. I am so extremely impressed by this printer and it really should be one of the best selling printers on Amazon.I also own a Robo R1 Plus and the difference between the printers is night and day.#1 The Sindoh DP201 is extremely easy to load new filament with.#2 The magnetic pad is super super easy to get prints off of. This saves so much time! I am a teacher and want to spend my time designing and making prints, not cleaning a glass xy table. I was worried about how well the prints would adhere to the magnetic pad, however there was no cause for concern. As you can see in the pictures I printed the large Trex skull from thingiverse. This is one of the most difficult prints and people often complain that the skull falls over during the print. With the Sindoh 201 I just loaded the file and pressed print. The quality was amazing and I had zero…
LOVE IT This printer is SOOOOO awesome. At work we have a MakerBot Replicator and it is a good printer, but the Sindoh DP201 is just so easy to use. The flexible print surface makes removing print super easy. The PLA filament is more expensive in the cartridge (700grams for 25 bucks) but it is so handy.
